Untitled/Only For Adults
Here we created two collections under one heading. One is thought to represent country side surroundings and the second one tells a story of a continuous rush in a city life.
We thought of countryside as we wanted to create an illusion of time that has stopped. There everything is real, natural and in the middle of this dream stands a muse. She comes out as pure art work of never changing, influencing history and human longings for an outstanding natural beauty. The costumes are light with delicate embroidery and hand made accessories (earrings, decorative pins and hair styles all done with a touch of Rococo).
The city part of the collection shows that people there are wearing masks. Time passes by notably fast. The environment is artificial. A lot of people there turn pretentious and unreliable. To express this, we chose to use synthetics, for example, a synthetics rain coat and facial masks. The last ones had prints of comics pornography or were dyed in black, pink or dark blue. All coat and jackets linings had printed comics pornography, representing chaos and nastiness of some city districts. The fabrics we used were cotton, leatherette, jeans and synthetics for raincoats. Men`s shirts had facial masks attached to collars. We also made a couple of duvet jackets that looking both sporty and classical.
